The Healthy Panacea Network (HPN) has released a new viewer as part of its Paxbox OneSource cloud-based PACS and image sharing service. The new viewer bypasses interoperability problems typical with client-server software allowing healthcare providers to view medical images with any browser or smart device and reduces processing times for clients with lower bandwidths.
Athens, GA (PRWEB) March 29, 2013
The Healthy Panacea Network (HPN) has released a new viewer as part of its Paxbox OneSource cloud-based PACS and image sharing service. The new viewer bypasses interoperability problems typical with client-server software allowing healthcare providers to view medical images with any browser or smart device and reduces processing times for clients with lower bandwidths. HPN technologist said the new zero-client viewer comes as part of their efforts to constantly stay on top of industry trends, and their ever-responsive growth to adhere to their clients’ needs.
PaxBox Zero-client removes the need for client-server software or browser code downloads, addressing the need for access to medical images and sharing, but without the high risk to security associated with ActiveX controls. HPN’s PaxBox is a full featured PACS and enables medical facilities and physicians to view, interpret and report all within one system. The zero client viewer gives an alternative to medical image sharing and viewing.
“Our business is customer focused. Our customers wanted a product that they could take out of office, so we created it,” said Dr. Mohamed Hammady, COO of Healthy Panacea Network. “When they wanted a way to always be able to help their clients at a moment’s notice whether they were down the street or in Antigua, we gave it to them.”
PACS customers have historically recognized that the image sizes for medical imaging is a strain on their network infrastructure, causing costly and on-going network upgrades. The new PaxBox Zero-client addresses this with server-side processing. Now, a hospital can securely share images outside their network without increasing network or bandwidth speed.
PaxBox OneSource, a product of Healthy Panacea Network, uses cloud-based medical image sharing to help reduce duplicate images and improves accuracy, saving time and lives. Through the use of cloud computing, the company has taken interoperability to a new level of effectiveness. |

Healthy Panacea Network announced today their partnership with R & F Imaging Systems, Inc. The new collaboration gives medical imaging providers a complete turn-key service for imaging equipment, IT Services and Cloud-based PACS and Image sharing.

Athens, GA (PRWEB) June 26, 2012
Historically medical distributors have helped healthcare providers in consolidating medical imaging products and services needed to capture, store and distribute images. However, due to the hardware, space and labor requirements for storage and distribution, it becomes cost prohibitive for many healthcare facilities to adopt these needed technologies.
“Our partnership with RFI, gives even the smallest physician practice a complete turn-key medical imaging service with technologies that rival the largest hospital systems.” says Mohammed Hammady, COO of Healthy Panacea Network. “Now everything from image acquisition to cloud-based disaster recovery and storage can be obtained through a single source.”
“What makes this service unique is the lack of hardware required to give healthcare providers a full-featured image management system. With PaxBox OneSource we can provide a cloud-based medical imaging system that includes image sharing, multi-specialty diagnostic tools, off-site archive and disaster recovery. Now it's possible for our customers to affordably adopt cutting-edge technology that will improve efficiencies and eliminate the recurring cost of replacing hardware every 3-5 years.”, explains Rex Fortenberry, CEO of R&F Imaging Systems.
Mr. Fortenberry also states that using cloud-based technologies will “help (RFI) to maintain a positive cash flow that ultimately can be passed on to the customer”.
The announcement coincides with the release of HPN Care. A pay-as-you-go, cloud-based Image Hosting Program for Physicians. HPN Care is helping physicians meet the financial challenges of healthcare today with a month-to-month plan where they only pay for what is used without lengthy contracts and commitments.
HPN Care uses the PaxBox OneSource cloud service, A multi-specialty vendor-neutral image management system. 7+ years of storage, disaster recovery and unlimited image sharing are just some of the features of the all-inclusive service.
About Healthy Panacea Network HPN’s mission is to improve Healthcare in America by enhancing interoperability between disparate systems and increasing collaboration between physicians. The value is enormous and no one can deny it. We can significantly reduce the total cost of healthcare with online medical image sharing. The savings can be in millions when applied regionally and in billions if applied to nationwide. PaxBox® OneSource™ is the ultimate answer to medical image sharing problem.
We are very pleased with our success building an image sharing network and eliminate CDs from several practices located in north-east Georgia. This success is largely attributed to revolutionary medical image sharing features of PaxBox® OneSource™. All the practices that we serve are now storing their imaging studies on our cloud server giving them anytime anywhere access. They are also receiving the final report online more quickly. I am really thankful to the PaxBox® OneSource™ team, for their relentless effort in this journey.” Mr. Boghani said.
“When you need to share a study outside of your enterprise in emergency what would you do? It is all so easy with PaxBox® OneSource™. OneClick™ Share is built keeping this very situation in mind. In an emergency you don’t have time to go through cumbersome processes of creating a user, assigning proper role, setting up permissions, assigning the study you want to share and then email or call the other provider and explain him how to access the system. No one has time for this. With OneClick® Share, you select the study, click OneClick™ Share, enter the email and click share. Yes, it is that simple.
Now, you can not only share the studies but you can also attach any relevant documents to the study while sharing. You can attach virtually any type of document. This way you can not only share the study, but also, all the other documents that may be needed. We listen to our customers and proactively take care of their potential needs; something that is missing from many big corporations.” Dr. Qamar Islam, Project Manager at “Healthy Panacea Network” said.

"Paxbox® Onesource With Its Advanced Medical Image Sharing Features, Is Helping Us Provide Superior Care And Reduce Overall Us Healthcare Cost", Says Dr. Subodh Agrawal

Dr. Subodh K. Agrawal an interventional cardiologist at Athens Heart Center, Athens Georgia, discusses how PaxBox® OneSource is helping him provide superior patient care by virtue of advanced diagnostic tools, platform to collaborate with peers and state of the art OneClick Share™ feature.
Athens, GA (PRWEB) January 25, 2012
"Current growth in spending on healthcare is not sustainable; we all know that. Imaging studies are a big part of total healthcare cost. We can save billions of dollars by avoiding duplicate imaging studies done for non-availability of medical images. The problem is that providers get reimbursed for a study only once and any subsequent sharing of images will cost additional time and resources for which they are not reimbursed. This additional cost discourages the sharing of medical images.
PaxBox® OneSource makes sharing studies completely free for physicians and effortless and hence encourages sharing studies. OneClick Share™ takes all the complexity out of the medical image sharing, while keeping us compliant with HIPPA rules and regulations. There is only one fee; at the time of upload paid by the imaging center. Sharing any uploaded study is free with no limitation; it can be shared with as many providers as many times as required. Not only that it is free, but there are strong incentives like extended referral base, networking with peers.
Our mission is to consolidate all the patient information at one place accessible by all involved in patient care. PaxBox® OneSource has enabled us to take that initiative. Not only all the studies done at our facility are uploaded, we also upload all the cath, PCI images from all the local hospitals to create a more complete view of patient information. We also share this with other providers using multitude of sharing options available in PaxBox® OneSource. We especially love the OneClick Share™ feature that significantly cuts down the steps required in sharing studies." Dr. Agrawal went on to say.
"PaxBox® OneSource is a unique solution providing all the features at a single place; archiving, storing, quality control, viewing, and diagnostic aids. PaxBox® OneSource is helping us to extend our referral base. Referring physician love the fact that we not just send the final report but also provide them with full access to the imaging study. The referring physician can then share the study with other specialists involved in the patient care. This network, we believe, will be the agent of change in healthcare. PaxBox® OneSource has also eliminated the need for complicated IT infrastructure and burning CD's."
